Connectivity problems. I am seriously thinking of acquiring the F-Pace and one of the things the dealer told me was that there were some connectivity problems to the Internet (slow and almost impossible to use when using a dedicated SIM card). Driving my 2018 F Pace 35T, got hit by a car which was traveling at least 50 mph. He it the corner of the front passenger side and smashed entire front. Airbags did not deploy and I hit my head on the steering wheel, bruised up my left shoulder and knee. Hello everyone, I’m a new Jaguar owner, was going to buy BMW X3 then my F-Pace just caught my eyes and I fall in love 😍. my F-pace (2019 with no buttons display) still has the S18B software version, I connected it to the home WiFi and checked for update but got the message “update not available”. As for interior space, the BMW X5 has less legroom and more second-row legroom than the Jaguar F‑PACE. The BMW X5 has 39.8 in of front-row legroom vs. the 40.3 in that the Jaguar F‑PACE has, while the BMW X5 also has 37.4 in of second-row legroom in comparison to the Jaguar F‑PACE's 37.2 in. Reliability and Maintenance Frequency. I've been eyeing the the F-Pace for a couple of months now. I love the looks and enjoyed my test ride. The only reason I haven't purchased is because the closest dealership to me is 2 hours away, and I'm worried about maintenance.

From a reliability perspective, I'd put the F-Pace behind all our other cars except for the snake-bit 335, but only very slightly behind the A3. The F-Pace hasn't ever left me stranded, but it's had an engine solenoid fail, a water pump fail, and has had infotainment system hiccups which seem par for the course.

Rob M. 41 posts · Joined 2017. #2 · Feb 24, 2023. Many OBD2 tools will output the status of state OBD checks such as catalyst, O2 sensors, misfire, evap, etc. The dealer should have reset/erased the O2 sensor codes following service. It can take a while driving for some of the checks to complete.

NYK. Had my I Pace for two and a quarter years, initially quite a few software bugs that the dealership sorted out after a few visits but since then it’s been totally reliable. Ordered a replacement one in December. Go for it, get one, it’s such a nice car to drive you can forgive it its odd problem.

The F Pace's regular driving throttle map is the equivalent of most other performance vehicle's sport mode mapping, it is quite aggressive and shifts at pretty high RPM. The eco mode map is more appropriate for a every day relaxing drive in the city, but too bad Jaguar retards the HVAC
JLR is having so many problems with their 2.0 ingenium Diesel engine timing chain failures that Korean authorities have gotten JLR to issue a recall for substandard quality parts failing (Timing chains) due to excessive failures. I am shopping for an F-Pace S and I am looking at a 2017 F-Pace S with the comfort and convenience package that has the 4 way climate controls and the 9 inch dash screen, but the seat temp controls on the screen does not display the blue "cool" option. Does that mean it does not have ventilated seats

It apparently keep the car checking the keys often and drains the battery. I would also check if there is a device plugged into the USB. Glacier White R-Sport. Tech package.

Pads still have 50% left. In the uk Jaguar dealers quote was for 2 x brake pads, sensors and discs (rotors) was £650. I took my 2018 to a local dealer and they charged £150 for pads and sensors and said new discs were not needed. The pads are JLR approved. Thr garage took under an hour to fit also with new wipers. .
